Bus Change Requests

A student must have a temporary bus pass to ride a different bus from the one assigned. To obtain a temporary bus pass, a parent/guardian must provide written notice or call the school by 11 a.m. on the same day.

Bus Rules

  • Keep hands and feet to yourself.
  • Do not stand up on bus seats.
  • Do not throw items on the bus. 
  • Always remain seated.
  • Always have "face mask" on.
  • Follow all bus directions. 

Items allowed on bus:

  • Laptops
  • School supplies
  • Bookbags
  • Notebooks

Items not allowed on bus:

  • Toys
  • Weapons
  • Hairsprays
  • Perfumes
  • Drinks
  • Food
  • Nail polish
  • Lipstick
  • Animals (pets)
  • Unknown people

Bus wait times

  • All students must be at the bus stop five minutes before bus arrival.
  • Buses will wait at each location for a maximum of two minutes before moving on to the next location.

If no one is home for dropoff:

  • Child is kept on bus.
  • Child is transported back to MLCS Campus.
  • Front office or school administrator will contact parents/guardians.
  • Parents/guardians need to pick-up child at MLCS Campus.

If child misses bus at pickup:

  • MLCS Transportation does not make second rounds.
  • Parents/guardians need to bring child to school.
