Miss & Mr. Mariano Lake Brave Pageant

Mariano Lake Community School near Crownpoint, NM, proudly celebrated its annual Miss Mariano Lake and Mr. Mariano Lake Brave Pageant! The evening was filled with tradition, pride, and community spirit. Contestants showcased their talents alongside a local traditional dance troupe, bringing culture and joy to the stage.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Mariano Lake Princess, Kimeriah, and the reigning Mr. Mariano Lake Brave, Cooper! This year's judges included Miss Pinedale Community Princess Megan and Miss Indian Rodeo (INFR) Cajun. The school's culture committee, comprising Mr. Hunkus, Ms. Jose, Ms. C. Charley, and Mrs. Harrison, organized the fun and meaningful event with food, decorations, and setup. Acting Principal Grace Benally provided inspiring words for the next generation of leaders at the crowning.
